The lower limbs are undoubtedly the backbone of exercise of the skier. Their expansion is essential both in terms of budget, both in terms of performance. At the same time it promotes the normal fitness activities such as gymnastics presciistica with exercises that have nothing to do with the modern skiing.
The skier, is the occasional Sunday that up to racing at a young age will have the need for further targeted to those that will be the corners and workloads will find on the slopes. If the rate of descent in the weight room is almost impossible to play the angles and workloads you can bring a great deal to those who are the characteristics of the descent.
This is why the staff at Physical Preparation Education offers three new exercises to be included in the program of strengthening specific for skiing.
The characteristics of all three of the exercises:
– Driven Monopodaliche
– Back with slipping through a small scooter.
If the first characteristic is easily understood, the choice of insert always an element of slipping will serve the athlete to immediately enter the perspective that its two lower limbs have to be independent, that can move in a totally random, just as would happen on where the slopes rely more on two different surfaces that often hide several difficulties.
1. Squat monopodalic in support of the Wall
The ability to support the athlete to a ball Psychomotor will allow him to reach corners of work without support may be prohibitive, also the choice to slide the leg support is not in order to further difficulties thus requiring large overhead for the more experienced athletes.
2. Push on the inclined plane in single stance
Very often the higher stress on the lower limbs are affrontavate in a phase of the curve, in which the centrifugal force, the speed of descent and the oncologist of curvature lead to the limit muscular structures that must maintain complete control even after the 60 seconds race at very high speed. It will therefore be appropriate to include in a training program something which simulates as possible the situation. Also in this case we made so that the foot is not resting, could perform a sliding movement to the point that it can not give any kind of support for the lower limb bearing.
3. Sliding lateral on condition of precarious balance
The last exercise is added in order to improve the control during lateral squat with a heavy involvement of the adductor muscles. These muscles play a key role in the hold phase especially in situations of precarious balance as could be well simulated in a single stance on skimmy.
